Cytotoxicity and Lipase Inhibition of Essential Oils from Amazon Annonaceae Species

Essential oils from Amazonian species are gaining increasing interest worldwide due to their medicinal and cosmetic applications; however, the relation among chemical constituents biological properties not well explored. Therefore, present research aims obtain an understanding of bioactivity compounds in essential plants Annonaceae family (Bocageopsis pleiosperma, Onychopetalum amazonicum, Unonopsis duckei, U. floribunda, rufescens, U.stipitata, guatterioides, Duguetia flagellaris Xylopia benthamii). By means gas chromatography coupled mass spectrometry, vitro cytotoxic anti-lipase assays, principal component analysis molecular docking, it was possible establish main that may be responsible for effect O. amazonicum B. pleiosperma. Moreover, potential D. also established, as its composition related activity. Thus, by employed strategy, allo-aromadendrene, cryptomerione, δ-cadinene β-bisabolene were suggested plausible agents against cancer cell lines, dehydroaromadendrene, spathulenol elemol, lipase. The study provides significant information on profile studies Amazon aromatic plants.
